WHO WE ARE
A Distinct Identity
"Our Common Thread" is a project aiming to support people in need (poor, disadvantaged, not integrated) of Rome. As students of John Cabot University, we have observed how many clothes are thrown and left behind at the end of every semester. This is a pretty common occurrence not only of universities but of households and neighborhoods. Our idea is to 'recycle' those clothes, a "free asset" for us, creating new and sustainable employment opportunities for the people in need of the refurbishment of these second-hand clothes. Through our project, we aim to target four UN Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty, Decent Work, and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequalities and Responsible Consumption and Production.
